Paul's Article on Reno

Just came home from seeing two warbirds at the Voodoo hangar and got my Kitplanes with Paul's comment on the transponder antenna on Voodoo and also received my new transponder antenna from Don at Delta Pop Aviation! Will show it to them tomorrow.

Here's the scoop on drag reduction, useful for all of us:

Regular wire and ball antenna
Drag force of 0.41 lbs @ 250 mph.

Faired antenna:
Drag force of 0.09 lbs @ 250 mph.

Now, at 500 MPH.......!! Good call Paul.
