Default OSH stopover reccomendation ?

Coming from AZ. Looking for a WSW stopover recommendation 1-2 hours from OSH (for early AM arrival next day). Looking for small town feel, EZ hotel access, good fuel price, etc. Any recommendations appreciated.

Myron,
I always stop in Keokuk, Iowa. It's a nice little airport with great service and hangar space if you need it. Right across the river from Nauvoo.

In Wautoma, "Elvis" will be performing at the Milty Wilty on Saturday evening July 26th from 6-8pm. The Milty Wilty is a 1950's style drive-in restaurant that's been family owned and operated since 1947.

We used to make it a point to have a burger and a shake at Milty Wilty every year we stayed at Wautoma for Airventure. If you're camping on the airport, you should see if you can get a ride into town to check it out, it's definitely a nostalgia trip.
