Default Manifold pressure grief

RV-7A with 300 hrs. This week on the second leg of a trip, my manifold pressure read '3', and stayed there. Next flight it was fine, but has been intermittent since. Occas it slowly inches up. Grounds all appear solid.
Any ideas? Bad sender?

I would start by first checking all wiring associated with the map sensor. Also check the map tubing from the engine to the sensor and all associated fitting for any damage.

After the second one went south, I wound up going to a UMA gauge - a direct hookup and a lot simpler. It has been rock solid. (Headed that way soon on the Tach.)
