Default Titan IOX340, MTV12 on RV-8 test....
We concluded our testing this week of 4 Titan engines and 2 MT props MTV 9 and MTV12. Last configuration was the Titan IOX340 I just ran at Reno PRS on my Long EZ. I was quite surprised by how it performed on RV8 during tests so I made three flights today and recorded climb, cruise, and top speed data on this combination. How do these numbers compare similar Rv8's out there? I think this 188hp engine is great option for lighter RV's out there...
