Default catto prop

i finally flew my rv4 with the catto prop 66x72 with a 0320 160 hp. i'm getting around 2290 rpms on static run up. seems a little low. any comments welcome

That doesn't seem too low to me. It will wind up considerably in flight.

Default Catto Propeller ?

Dan,

Is this the two blade "New Gen." with stainless leading edge?

If so, I'm watching with interest since this is the weapon of choice for my similarly equipped RV-4.

Did you request a cruise prop from Craig ?

I get 2150 static with my 66x78 three blade with an IO-360. I get 2750 at 190kts.

I think you're good.

Default Catto

That Catto prop builds speed very fast once you get going. Your static rpm is right where it is supposed to be.
