Default Need to test a SL-30

If anyone in the Southeast Georgia/Southern South Carolina has a SL-30, I would like to test my SL-30 in your airplane. We have checked everything involved in the antenna/grounding and all is OK. The problem is a air noise sound that goes away when you transmit(it transmits and receives OK). It cannot be eliminated by squelch. I am hoping it is a wiring issue with my Approach Systems Hub /cable. If it is the radio, I would like to test it in a known good installation prior to sending it off to be checked.

Default Me too - SL-30 Noise

My SL-30 has a hiss on both receive and transmit. It may have other problems, too. I had a Garmin shop test it on the bench. Garmin is sending the vendor a loaner and I will be sending the radio back. It is NEW.

Default SL-30 test

Robby, send or bring that SL-30 here to KFFC-Peachtree City and we'll slide it in my RV and see what it does. I have the Approach Systems Pro Hub.
