Default O-320 Sump

Did Lycoming ever make a forward facing sump O-320? Been looking for a while for evidence of such with no luck.

No, they never actually made a 320 with a forward facing sump. The sump that we use on the 360's will fit the 320 with a slight change to the intake pipes, to adjust for the shorter 320 cylinder length.
Good Luck,
Mahlon

Or use a Sky Dynamics Injector relacation kit - about $450, probably cheaper than a new sump and modified intake pipes.

Saw that. It is tempting and would accomplish what I need. Not nearly the cool factor though!

ECI makes a Cold Air Induction system for the O-320.
