Default D-Day Memorial Flight at Spruce Creek

At Spruce Creek we have a regular Friday evening fly-by and party. The past Friday was the 70th Anniversary of D-Day. Gaggle chief - Keith Phillips called for a Gaggle Fly-by. Twenty some airplanes showed up, half were RVs. A P-51 took the lead and a T28 with CO2 guns closed the show.

Award winning P-51 taxi by air boss Dave.

T34 did a pre-show.

Whisky Flight ready to taxi.

P-51 was in the air, the rest of the flights lined up on the runway.

Neighbors came to watch and to party.

T-28 with guns (view the video and you will hear them)

I and an RV6 joined the last flight that includes a Cessna 140 (slow). I am in the inside of the turn (of the C140's wing)!

My wife took the video from the ground. Below is a six minutes cut:

A missing man flight with tap began at 1:50 min in the video.
