Default Non RV kitplanes?

Hi ya'll,

I'm really digging my RV7A and had planned to start building an 8(A?) next winter. Alas, my wife has vetoed sitting in the back so...

Does anyone know of any prepunched kits from other vendors?

My desires:
* aluminum preferred but I'd consider tube and rag - I've had enough of sanding fiberglass
* minimal jigging
* perhaps a bit more acro than the RV
* doesn't have to be fast
* two seat
* good builder support

Ideas?

Hey Kevin,

Has your wife actually ridden in the back of an 8/8A yet? There are a few that visit this site that have flown in side by side and tandem and PREFER tandem after trying it. Case in point Kahuna's wifey. More room, more viz actually and 'pillowable' on both sides of head for a little nappy-loo.

Just checking.
