Good restaurant with a nice view of the runway and the Mogollon Ridge behind it.

Like Gil says but would recommend checking afternoon winds as they have had some strong ones lately for sure. Mornings have been nice though. Larry

When flying home (westbound) after any trip that took us east, Payson (KPAN) is ALWAYS our dinner stop before that last (2:15 hour) leg home to California!! I use St. John (KSJN) for fuel though.
The Restaurant overlooks the ramp and runway, and they serve EXCELLENT meals for breakfast, lunch and dinner. A slice of pie before leaving makes for a nice landing at home Rosie

Payson
Favorite place for our Tucson qRV Group to stop for breakfast and lunch.
Have some Raisin toast with your breakfast eggs.
The lunch burgers are made from fresh ground beef.
Left traffic to Runway 24 is the preferred approach as there are houses off the approach end of 06.

Self serve fuel is now down at the very west end of the field. Can't really walk to eat. So, fuel and taxi over to the cafe. Great view. Free camping right on the field if that is on the menu for your trip.
Great airport manager. Will usually walk over and greet you as you tie down.
(sloped... use chocks for sure) Food is not five star... but just fine.

KPAN
Our Flagstaff airport gang is there all the time, also my Mom lives there. The new self serve fuel is at the other end but is now constantly inexpensive.
