Default E/P-Mag price going up on Friday

Got an email from E-Mag guys.. price going up on Friday 5pm... can order at current price before then.

=====

E-MAG Friends and Fans:

Since we first introduced E-MAG over three years ago, we've worked hard to 1) refine our product line and 2) establish a presence in the experimental aircraft marketplace. We are pleased to report great progress on both fronts. We've made numerous technical advancements and couldn't be more pleased with the rapport we have developed with our (current and future) customer base.

To pave the way for our product introduction we elected to aggressively under-value our equipment, and for over three years that initial pricing has not changed. We are now preparing to transition our enterprise out of its start-up phase. Accordingly, we need to provide a solid business foundation and position our products more in line with the competition.

The purpose of this communication is to let you know that as of 5 PM Friday, September 29 our price schedule will change. We can't be specific right now because the final schedule is still under review. Even so, we want to be as considerate as possible with this necessary move and let builders who've been following our work have one last opportunity to enjoy current (three year old) pricing. If you know of someone who is considering E-MAGs, please pass this on.

This might make the week leading up to the 29th a busy phone period so we suggest outlining your request in an e-mail (info@emagair.com). Please make sure to include:

1. Name
2. Phone Number(s)
3. Alternate e-mail addresses (if different than the FROM address on your e-mail request)
4. The items you are requesting (this can be modified as necessary when we call back to finalize your order)

We don't (yet) have ignitions for six cylinder or Continental engines, so we cannot accept orders for those types of engines. E-mail requests will become firm orders ONLY after follow up contact and payment of your deposit, but your e-mail will provide an effective date stamp to secure current pricing, and a place in the queue. We will attempt to make contact during the week of the 29th and the week following. After that, this offer will expire.

As you may know, your order will be filled as soon production allows, but you might expect 60 to 90 days before delivery can be made. We only ask for a $100 deposit to finalize an order. We will bill for the balance a few weeks before we expect to ship. Deposits can be paid by credit card, but we ask that you plan on making your final payment by check.

Thank you again for all your support

Kindest Regards

Brad Dement

Default E-mag / P-mag Price increase

If you were thinking of buying an E or P-mag now is the time.
The following is from the Emag web site

When we introduced E-MAG over three years ago, our start-up plan included very aggressive product pricing. We now need to establish a long term business foundation, keep pace with rising mfg. costs, and position ourselves more in line with other providers.

We also want to protect the remarkable report we enjoy with our customer base. So we are trying to managing this necessary change as considerately as we can - by announcing it ahead of time.

As of 5 PM Friday, September 29, 2006 our price schedule will change (materially). If you know of someone who is considering E-MAGs, please pass this along.

We anticipate the week of the 29th might be a busy phone period so we suggest outlining your request in an e-mail (info@emagair.com). Please include:

1. Name

2. Phone Number(s)

3. Alternate e-mail addresses - if any

4. Listing of requested items (ok to modify when we call back to finalize your order).

Qualifications:

1. We don't (yet) have ignitions for 6 cylinder or Continental engines, so we cannot accept those orders.

2. E-mail requests will become firm orders ONLY after follow up contact and payment of your deposit. Your e-mail will provide an effective date stamp to secure current pricing and a place in the queue. We will attempt to make contact and finalize your order, but after October 6, this program will end and all pending requests will be considered expired.

3. Your order will be filled as soon production allows, but you might expect 60 to 90 days for assembly.

4. We only ask for a $100 deposit to finalize an order. We will bill for the balance a few weeks before we expect to ship. Deposits can be paid by credit card, but we ask that you plan on making your final payment by check

5. Other limitations and qualifications may be applied at the sole discretion of E-MAG with or without notice.
