Default Portable Oxygen Tank/System near LZU

Just finishing up my phase 1, and looking at possibly getting a portable oxygen tank to both test service ceiling, and for long trips in the future being able to get over the weather.

1. Anyone in Atlanta (Preferably at LZU) have a system that I could rent/borrow for a week to try one out.

2. Anyone know somewhere near LZU that will fill them for a reasonable price?

I don't mind putting down some money for a system, but don't want to have to pay $100 each time I use it for a refill.

Bill - Phase I 25hr and counting.

Default Call Brian and Brandi

Bill,

Your good friends Brian and Brandi have been using mine for awhile. You are welcome to borrow it, but they would know better than me where all the parts are.

Default Thanks!

Thanks. I did not know they had been using one. And they might not be doing too much flying for the next couple of weeks.

I will talk to them.

Anyone have any places they have used to fill o2 in Atlanta cheep without a lot of hassle .

Bill

I have a 4 place aerox system you can try. It is half full.
Gwinnett Aero will refill tanks for $15 I am told.
Check with them and call me or Brian Michael if you want it.

I had a medical D bottle filled yesterday at a dive shop for $10.
They keep Oxygen to do Nitrox mixes.
Most should have the CGA540 fitting to do aviation.
