Default suction cups on panel

Those suction-cup mounts that they make for mounting phones and GPS units in cars - how well do those suction cups work on a painted RV panel? Would the vibration be too much for the suction cup to reliably hold?

I've used a Ram Mounts suction cup to hold my iPad Mini. As long as you keep the mating surfaces clean it works pretty well. I think it best to remove when not in use so the plastic doesn't develop a 'set'. YMMV

Phil-
I used the RAM suction cup mounts extensively on my old painted panel. They did a great job of holding my iPhone and GoPro in place?even during acro. The biggest downside that I experienced was that they left a visible and pronounced black ring where they adhered to the panel, effectively removing the paint from the panel. The rings formed the very first time I used the mounts, which was very disappointing as I removed them after only ~1 hour of use.

Cool, thanks guys. I didn't get a RAM mount, but rather got this iGrip Mount for my Blackberry Q10:
