So, here we go.... Not finished with wings, but I wanted to preserve 2013 pricing.
Austin is excited! (So is Daddy)
Holy Smokes!
..... it's in there somewhere.
Thanks to my buddies Steve W. (RV-8A, borrowed his trailer) and Kurt W. (RV-9A, first flight, front page yesterday, for help unwrapping....
Most of all, thanks to my wife for putting up with this....

Sweet!
Way to Go Gregg!! Another milestone passed...on the road to the freedom of homebuilder flight! Also a great idea to get Austin in the pictures (he already has the RV grin) - I am always amazed at how big those kids get during the process of a build!

Cool! Save some of that paper, and you'll never have to buy any when it comes time for masking/painting.

Wow, unbelievable how much cleaner the garage looked "before" with just the shipping crate....
And for those wondering: unwrapping someone else's airplane parts and playing "guess where this goes" is every bit as much fun as unwrapping your own!

Congratulations
Congratulations Gregg.
Save some paper. I donated mind to local shops for packing and found out later how handy it it for all sorts of things like proseal.

Sorry Dale, I really couldn't tell you. I put a deposit on in December, and waited until April 1 to finish paying for it. It was HERE on the 15th. So, they turned mine pretty quick.

Missing Parts....
I know that the fine folks at Vans are WIZARDS at packing these crates, and getting EVERYTHING in there correctly, with LOTS of paper.....
It was bound to happen eventually, but after more than a dozen parts orders, they finally missed one..... If I was missing a little bag, or a small clip, I would assume that it's in the paper somewhere, or duct taped to the back of a sheet of cardboard..... But I am missing (so far, nearly finished) a 6' long piece of 1x1 .125 angle. That's a big piece... ... Qty 2, I have 1.
Oh well.... I am confident they'll make it right. I am still amazed at how accurate they have been over the years.
Happy Easter Everyone!
Gregg
