Default Newbee to the RV community site

Hello Everyone, I wanted to introduced myself. My name is Charles Cantrill and I live in Orlando, Fl. I am very interested in getting an RV-6 or RV-7 and I believe I have finally convinced my wife to try and sell our Searey to buy a used RV. I am looking forward in taking some long cross county flights and meeting other RVers out there. If anyone knows of a RV that is for sale and the owner would like to trade for a Searey, Please let me know.

Thanks and looking forward to meeting many of you in the future.

Welcome, Charles! I've been telling my wife that our second plane needs to be a Searey. Not sure she's convinced yet.

Did you build yours?

Thanks so much for the warm welcome. I am really looking froward to all the new friends my wife and I are going to get to know in the future when we find the right RV for us.

I did not build my Searey but after all the work I did to it after I bought her it sure feels like it. But I learned early on in my wife and I's relationship (and being married for over 12yrs) my wife is not a builder wife, she is a flying wife. So I am forced to buy used and fix them up in little increments. But one day I would love to build a plane from scratch. I have restored a few ultralights in the past and that is where I learned that my wife is a flying wife and not a builder wife.

Looking forward to all the new adventures that are in store for us.
