RV-6 Com Antenna Location Suggestions

I currently have a wing tip com antenna that I am replacing with a RAMI AV-17 bent whip on the belly. There is currently only one external monopole transponder antenna mounted directly below my fuel selector, forward of the wing spar. Is there a minimum distance that I need to stay away from the transponder antenna? I am looking for mounting location suggestions and pictures if available.

Click on Steins site on the VAF home page top right corner. Once on Steins site click on Documents then click on suggested antenna locations. He has a nice drawing showing the best locations for just about any antenna you might use on a RV.
