Default Quiet Flight Solutions

Has anyone tried Quiet Flight Solutions for sound damping and absorbing material. I've searched buy no results. They have pre cut kits for RVs.

Their approach to damping and absorbing seems sensible.

It looks interesting, and I'm a BIG fan of acoustic damping and thermal insulation, but I notice they don't mention what all that stuff weighs.

If you look at their PDF catalog, they have weights listed in there for a typical installation...an entire install being 46 pounds for everything. An entire install for an RV-7 (also -9 I'm sure) is $964. They are located about 60-70 miles from me, so I might head over there in a few weeks and check out the operation.

I haven't used it in an airplane, but I used Dynamat in my truck. It worked pretty well, but it is very heavy. If is it in the plane, I would probably think about using just strips of it in strategic locations. But for heaven's sake please don't take any advice from me. I'm still working on my wings.
