Default movement. good or bad

I took the wheel pants and wheel off my RV7. jacked one gear off the ground, Got to checking out things when i grabbed the end of the axle at the threads and was able to move the gear leg back and forth maybe 3/32" to 1/8" each way. 150 hrs on plane. good or bad? typical? also found 1/2 the bolts for the brake system were loose!

Bad... you should not have any movement, a close tolerance bolt at the top of the gear leg can help if the socket is not worn excessively.

False alarm maybe? Play at a jack point? Couple weeks ago I disassembled and checked gear legs on my plane no play found. All stock and I abuse that gear a lot.
