As some of may know, the FAA has been looking at another ECI cylinder AD.
For th most part, it sounds like this one may be a bit of a witch hunt.
Here is the AVweb story on the proposed AD.
Yes this is on Continental cylinders and not Lycoming; "What does this have to do with RV's," you ask? Everything! ECi is not a big company and this AD could put them at risk. If they go under the price for parts and engines will go up.
Please contact your elected officials and let them know what you think about this.
