Default Map light ideas

Hello, I am thinking about installing 2 map/instrument lights such as the Grimes 1425 used in some Pipers. I am looking at incandesent not led type because they are easier to dim and the old one look cool. What would be some others of this style?
Thanks in advance!

I have the LED units from Stein, http://www.steinair.com/storedetail.cfm?productid=191

They were dead simple to dim, just a simple potentiometer is all.

I use a push on/push off button switch and a knob on the pot.

Mounted on the ceiling, seen here.
