Default Garmin 796 and Navworx help

Does anyone have a Garmin 796 and a Navworx ADSB that the 796 has not been upgraded ? I need a picture or settings in the Garmin prior to the latest Garmin version upgrade. After upgrading my Garmin I do not receive data from the Navworx and the same with my one of the other RV pilots in the area. I am reading data from the Navworx to my GRT and traffic is still working correctly on the EFIS. But no joy with the Garmin

I read the manual and there is a TIS In/NMEA & VHF out option. This option is not there after the upgrade. Unfortunately I cannot find the photo of my settings prior to the Garmin upgrade.

The GTX TIS A setting does not work with the Navworx.

Any help would be appreciated

Should be TIS-A In/NMEA VHF out, make sure the baud is set to 9600.

Hello David,

Have you installed the V4.10 Area 796 software?

Thanks,
Steve

Steve I installed the latest version last weekend.

Walt see the Photo of the 796 screen, I don't that option anymore after the update.

David,

"TIS In" and "GTX TIS-A In" are the same thing. The TIS-A designation was added to remove confusion between TIS-A and TIS-B.

Please be certain you are using V4.10 and not something older.

Thanks,
Steve
