Default Autozone/pepboys light weight alternator?

I have a "huge" and heavy 60amp on the front of my RV8.

I have all led nav/strobe. I also have dynon skyview equipment with servos. MGL V6.

After engine start the amps are around 26amp charge for maybe 3 minutes. After that the highest amps I see with everything on and fuel pump running... 8amps!

Is there a mass produced alternator that throws 30amps max? (I know there is, but I'm really after is...) How much weight, if any, do I save?

I used the search function and hadn't found info on this topic.

Thanks in advance,

Scott

Possible issues to consider is internal or external regulation, mounting bracket, pulley type/size, and direction of turn.

I got to know the folks at local parts store. They let me go back into the storage area and pick out an alternator. The early 70s honda was also the smallest one that I found. You can make spacers so that it aligns with the Lycoming flywheel without problem.
