Default AirVenture Judging

I am looking for information on the homebuilt judging at AirVenture. I have seen the manual and tips, but specifically, I am trying to find out the schedule. When does a plane need to be at AirVenture and for how long to be judged?

Mark,

Last year I arrived on Monday and left on Thursday. All they need is long enough for at least 3 judges to look at it. In reality you would want many more but 3 is the minimum. I think there were about 22 judges last year in the homebuilt category. I would suggest at least two days, more would be better because they usually don't look at it the first day due to paperwork needing to be entered into their system.

All in all, it's really not a big deal but be ready to remove at least the top cowl so they can see the FWF installation and take along your photo records of the build. It really helps.
