Default Many thanks.

Just finished my private after 40 years of family, kids and an aerospace engineering career. One of my instructors and friend, Mike (who is building an RV-8) posted my name on this site and asked if anyone could show me their RV. I got an email from Dale here in Sierra Vista who not only showed me his RV-6 but took me up for an incredible flight over the SE Arizona mountains. I am still trying to recover mentally from rolls and wingovers and some maneuvers that Dale did to demonstrate the capabilities of the RV. Wow! I can't thank Dale enough for his generosity as well as the friendliness of the RV community. Dale also let me fly the RV-6 and I was impressed with how responsive the RV was. Now I have to figure out how to buy or build one. Thanks Dale!

Default Welcome to VAF!

Bud, welcome aboard the good ship VAF

If you think flying someone else's RV is a thrill, wait till you fly one you built yourself.

We call that the $50,000 (not adjusted for inflation) free ride.
