Default mounting 796
What is the best way to mount an ipad or Garmin 796 in a RV6 if there is no space on the panel.

Bill,

I don't have an RV but had the same problem in my Varga 2180. I used a Ram suction mount and have it mounted to my side window. The 796 as you know is not exactly light but the suction mount holds it very nicely. I also used the bare wire kit from Garmin and hard wired the unit in. Wouldn't be w/o it. Love the 796. Every once in a while the suction cup does let go but it has never been an issue to quickly reattach
