Masterforce or HF band saws

Does anyone have any experience with and can comment on the quality of either of these two band saws? The first is a Masterforce 10" saw from Menards and the second is the 14" saw from HF. Thanks

Hi, Band saws look fine but make sure you can slow them down for metal or you will burn up your blades on steel. I have a Sears 2 speed and it is still a little fast for the Sears blades but the price was right.

I get excellent service out of this one.
Unless you are doing a lot of wood work this is a much better deal.
You can upright it in 2 seconds and it becomes a regular band saw,
Add the table attachment that comes with it in less than 5 minutes and you are ready to go.

Interesting idea Ernst. Doesn't that do just about the same thing as my metal cut off saw? Any one else try one of these for RV work?
