Amazing website "VAF"
This is an Amazing Site ! I have been reading here for a few years now and when anyone has an avaition related question , someone has the answer. 
I have never seen anyone just say " I don't Know " !
Someone KNOWS !
It is like having my own Crystal Ball !

In all fairness... Have you ever met a pilot that said, "I don't know" to any question?

My son who flys the Apache helicopter for the Army told me - "there once was a pilot who wasn't full of bs, but it was just that once and it was a long time ago". Im sure everyone has heard that, but it is still pretty funny - and accurate!

Judges? No. Surgeons? No. Speaking as a former board member of a flying club, there is no greater concentration of ego per square foot than a roomful of pilots. Except for a roomful of astronauts.

My experience on VansAirforce is that everyone has an opinion....but a lesser number actually knows what they're talking about.
