Stein's Videos
By accident, while Googling for info on terminating shielded wire, I came across Stein's excellent videos on YouTube. See http://www.youtube.com/results?search_query=steinair.
I'm sure I'm just late to the party on viewing these, but I didn't find anything about them in my search here on VAF, so I thought I'd put a plug in here.
Stein, well done! Please do some more!

Yeah, I did the same, just stumbled on them, BUT WAIT THERE'S MORE - - -
Go to the http://steinair.com website and all of Steins videos have links there right from the homepage.

Stein Air Videos
Thanks a lot guys, you just cost me $134! Watched a couple Stein videos and realized I needed some stuff, well.... $134 later I left the website.
Impulse buying? I think not, just "needed" some electrical stuff.

Ha! Y'all didn't notice all the subliminal messages buried in those videos, did you?
Actually we have a LOT more of them to get loaded up there, we just haven't yet had the time. Originally we were going to put out a big long (and boring) DVD, but then decided just to carve it up into small snippets of functions people could watch with short videos on a whole pile of subjects ranging from very basic to very advanced stuff. There are a bunch of them to come, hopefully some will find them helpful, even if they are somewhat generic in format (and not necessarily professionally produced).
Hopefully we'll have a bunch more of them uploaded in the coming months, if you all have any particular subject areas you'd like addressed, we'd be happy to try and make a quick video of it.
Cheers,
Stein

Stein?how about one on crimping coax connectors. I'm maybe 7-10 days away from connecting antennas (that's assuming I figure out how to program the VP-X to make it do what I want).

D sub max Amps
I'm deep into installing my electrical system (and Stein Built G3X panel). Does anyone know the largest wire that will go in a standard and High density D sub pin? I'm trying to figure the max amp rating I can use the pins for. Same for Molex pins/connectors.
Thank You

5 amps 22AWG
per http://www.connectpositronic.com/pro...59/tech_specs/
Molex - -??? need pin model, how fast does a Ford go? I have never figured out how to easily identify each type of molex pin.
Here is a reference if you have a pin. http://www.molex.com/catalog/web_catalog/pdfs/E.pdf
Happy terminations.
