Default ng prv spring issues

Finally decided to change to 11713 white spring after watching my oil pressure just barely into the green arc at 60psi. I already had 3 washers in the assembly and that helped some. When I removed the ball I noticed it was scored in the shape of the seat to a depth of 1/32". I'm wondering if this is normal in 130 hrs? Also the circular marks are in multiple spots on the ball.

Now I wonder if the marks are caused by the spring ramming the ball into the seat with too much force, making my switch to a stiffer spring unnecessary.

I did notice the new ball on order from Spruce is chrome, perhaps it's more durable. Not sure what this one is but I would guess plain steel.
