Default Mechanical pump for carb piping ???

My 0320 A1A has a mechanical fuel pump. It has "AA" in the castings, but no FLOW DIRECTION symbols in the casting. My project is a rebuild I purchased and I have no docs for reference. Looking at the rear of the engine, which side of the pump is INPUT ?? Thanks in advance...Larry

On my fuel pump: If I was looking at the pump as if I was sitting in the cockpit, the right the side of the mechanical fuel pump is input and the left side is output.
