Default Paperwork/Registration question.

Maybe I'm just bad at reading comprehension, but I'm not quite understanding what's going on with my reserved N-Number. EAA's step by step kit is blurry in this one area.

I've been reserving and renewing my N-Number for a couple of years, and that's now on the FAA paperwork I'm about to send in, with my $5 registration fee. Is this all I have to do?

Or do I need to send in a request letter and yet another $10 to get them to actually assign it to the aircraft?

Thanks,
-John

You just need to send the normal registration papers with the $5 fee and include a letter stating that you want to assign your reserved number to this aircraft.

Angry N#

When you send in the REG. and letter for N# be sure to state builder ,model , ser# just like on Reg. or it will get kicked back come to think about it they kicked it back and sent me a form to fill out with it for the N# that I had reserved so I ended up having to get two Reg. and a temp letter to use N# altogether it only took 8 months .Hope you have better luck.
