Showplanes FPS problem

This is on an RV-10 but I suspect the system is similar on other models.

My Showplanes Flap position system stopped working a while back. Flaps worked as if no positioner at all when under flight loads. A&P at last annual worked on it and worked until today.

Now when switched to retract it stops at the "half" flap position intermittently with no flight load. When I apply flight loads by hand as the FPS rod passes the "half flap" notch it retracts fully as normal.

Anybody have any experience with this?
