Default Garmin 430 and 330 stock in the tray

I am having a very hard time pulling my garmin 430W and 330 out of tray tray. I can turn the little allen screw that locks them in place with no issue but they seem stock in the tray. Any one has a trick or suggestion I can push these out without damaging them?

Thanks in advance

Are you unscrewing the lock all the way, or only till it gets loose??

You need to turn the screw as far as you can without forcing it.

The last bit of travel of the screw lifts the latching cam out of the slot.

Yes, I turn the screw many turns and I can see the latch on the 330 to get unlatched but it is stock really good. These were mounted flush so I don't have any thing to grab on to
