Default Time to fit engine cowl?

Hellooo!
Does anyone have advice on when a good time to fit the cowling is?
My new from the factory lycoming o360 is full of preservative and is mounted on the airframe. I dont know if i should drain it and start installing carb and exhaust and engine controls before I fit cowl. Is it easier to fit with more room or does all the engine componets make it more difficult?
Thankyou!

Default Look in fiberglass

You might look in the forum fiberglass section. 'Cowl Tool'. I put some pictures of how to do a cowl.
Better to make a spacer on your spinner bulkhead, than to use prop.
As to timing,, get it all done before you buy avionics,, wheel pants too!
