Easy Location of Tire Valve on Wheel Pants
I like the way you did that. Now, just take some bright colored spray paint and make a mark on the both the inside and outside of the tire bottom. With that done, you can tell when the valve is aligned with the very clever hole. When the paint mark is visible on the bottom of the tire whether pulling or pushing with a tow bar or rolling the tire from the side. Dan.

Tire marks
So, what can you use to mark the tire? I've been using tire chalk, but it doesn't last very long.

I just used a can of spray paint from HD; don't remember the brand, but it is still very visible after 4 years.
