Default #33 dimple

On the RV-14 trim tab, Van's ask for you to dimple the #33 holes. I don't see Averytools listing a #33 dimple die. Would a #30 die work for these rivets?

Default What is going in the dimple?

A rivet, what size? Or a #6 or #8 screw?

Probably an MK319BS c'sunk Monel pop rivet, which has a nominal shank diameter of 7/64".

I don't know if it's the exact right thing to do, but I usually drill and dimple those #40 so I can use -3 clecos, and then drill them up to #34 or #33 on final assembly.

Thanks, Bob K.

The holes are for a pop rivet ,to which I do not recall the type or size. Possible a MK-319-BS?? I'll check tomorrow when out in the hangar.

I went out to the hangar and checked. Yep MK-319-BS. I tried one in a dimpled #40 hole and fits perfect. I'll use a #40 dimple die.
Thanks Guys
