Do you want/need this from a CFI, or just time in an RV 6???

There are a lot of RV 6s down in your area, try a weekend visit to Chino.

There is a SoCal RV group on the internet also. http://groups.yahoo.com/neo/groups/SoCAL-RVlist/info

One more thumbs up for Reuven Silberman. I did my transition training with him.

If Vernonia Oregon is not to far away, Mike Seager is a CFI, and delivers a thorough 5 hour transition course. I took his course before flying my 7A, and now have 105 trouble free hours, including some fairly rough and short grass strips. The savings on my insurance premiums more than covered the cost of training and travel. Mike's contact info is on Van's website
