I am assuming that they deburred and primed before installation, correct Pierre?!

Best wishes for a speedy recovery.

Default Welcome back

Glad to hear you are back, Pierre. I was thinking about you this morning when I logged on.

A doc friend told me that the difference between major surgery and minor surgery?...

It's major when it's happening to YOU!

Here's hoping for a quick and successful recovery. I had both shoulders "deburred and primed" about 4 years ago and it really helped.

I know how you feel. Just take your meds on schedule and follow doctors orders. You'll be back in the saddle in no time. Don't get behind on the pain meds. Ask me how I know

Default Shoulder

Pierre, you're going to love that new shoulder, and it has a really long TBO!

Default RE: Pierre's shoulder

Pierre
Glad to hear you are doing well. Since I'm an orthopaedic surgery nurse I have helped with many shoulder replacement surgeries. I know that they hurt and wish you all the best. Rehab works if you do your part. One of my Docs has a saying "No pain no gain" in regards to rehab. The corollary is if you don't use it you'll lose it.

Allan,
I take issue with your post. Hospital are not dangerous and we don't kill people. I would think you were trying to be cynical but i'm not sure. We are health care professionals and our only concern is the best outcome for our patients. Shame on you.

Get well quickly Pierre. Been thinkng about you, having been through bilateral shoulder "fillet fairing" (labrum) depot level maintenance. Not nearly what you've been through, but you'll be flapping the wings in no time. It won't seem like it at first, but it'll loosen up, and you'll be better 'n new! Three key words to recovery...

Cute. Physical. Therapist.

Cheers,
Bob

Default Fun

My late Dad always used to point out that something good always comes from a bad situation...it's true....Jenny and I got"close" getting me dressed this morning....oh, and try left clicking with your left hand buttoning your shirt with your left hand...on and on..Absolutely loved my nurses and doctors...it was really fun...lotsa humor.."you wanna sit in my lap and fly?" Here's my cell #

Best,

oh, try "shift" and a capital letter with your left hand...at the same time.
