Changing AFS 4500 speed units
I'm giving a new RV-9A owner transition training and can't get registered on the AFS site.
How do you change the speed units to MPH?
Thanks,

I'm out of town (BTR) for the weekend and can't remember the button sequences. You shouldn't need to register to download the manual. You should find it off the support menu on the 4500 page.
I would have supplied the link, but I'm having difficulties from my ipad getting through all the flash. I do have a copy of the manual here, but I'll need your email address.

Thanks
I've downloaded the manual but I haven't found out how to "Boot the unit in Calibration mode." Once there, I can change the units.
Best,

Not in front of the unit but
Not really a boot mode. Reached from the soft menus
[CHECK] -> [MAINT] -> [ADMIN] -> [CALIB]
Hold CALIB for a few seconds to enter that mode..

Make sure the pitot cover is off! Once the pitot system senses any kind of airspeed from pressure changes you can not enter that mode.
