Thumbs up indicated air speeds with and without farings

Today was the first day I had a chance to fly my 10 with the leg farings and wheel pants.
With no pants or fairings on the legs the indicated airspeed, at full throttle, was 150Kts.
With the pants and fairings the speed, at full throttle, went up 24Kts to 174Kts.
This was at full throttle at 3500 ft.

With 2250rpm and 20 inchs the indicated speed was 147Kts. seems the speeds are acceptable to me.

I love my plane.

15 hours on my way to 40.

Default Different airplane

Hi Mich,
Our 6A seemed like a different airplane after the fairings and pants were installed........18-20 MPH faster and 250 FPM greater rate of climb! If you'll experiment with climbs at 145 MPH and then again at 160 MPH, it will amaze you that you can still get over 1000 FPM at those high speeds!
Regards,
