Default MT Propeller recall?

I have been corresponding with MT regarding the MTV-15B metal 2 blade props on some RV's. They manufactured 48 of these, and after a blade separation, discontinued manufacture. They are in the process of offering an exchange for their composite 3 blade unit to get the 48 out of service. Please note, they do not say there is anything wrong with these props, but do recommend a 5-10 hour inspection of the hub for grease leaks. They have a standard 3 blade unit, and a heavy unit for engines with electronic ignition and high compression pistons. Call Gerd at MT, tell him I recommended that you get the info directly from the source.

Regards,
