Default Tip: Toolbox project - handle bending device

Hi all,

This is my first post on this great forum!

I'm thinking about building a RV12 so I ordered some tools from Cleaveland Tools and the Vans toolbox and practice project.

The beginning of the toolbox project went fine but bending the handle with just pliers didn't work out very well.
So I decided to build a bending device that I like to share with other newbies.

Wish I had thought of that. There are lots of hinge pin bends to do on the build.

Great idea. If you have that kind of "how-to-it-ness" you'll have no problem. BTW, I decided to substitute LP4-3's in lieu of the driven rivets for that kit. My logic is that the kit is to give me practice I need for my kit (RV-12), not any specific technique. True to intent, my toolbox is right on top of my workspace with a large number of small, frequently used tools. It's a great starter kit.

Welcome aboard,
-dbh
