Default Testing an EFIS, GPS configuration.

Having recently turned on my Skyview, GNS430, ARINC429, Icom A210 panel, everything seems to be working but I'm not confident in closing in the wiring (it's a slider) until I've confirmed that everything is fully functional. Has anyone produced a checklist to show how communications between these components can be validated?

The main thing that needs to be verified is the Skyview network communication, which you can do from the settings screens, and the communication between the G-430 and the ARINC adapter. To do this, turn on your GPS and leave it in the Instrument Panel Self Test screen, and make sure you get HSI information to correlate, then go to the main screen and take the HSI to Nav1 and verify you get the frequency of the VOR on the Skyview screen.
