Question Technical Councelor help requested for Seminar

For all of the EAA TCs who read this board..

I'm considering presenting a Seminar at Copperstate 2006 on the Friday afternoon on "Building Safely".

It will be based on an article I had published in Sport Aviation about 6 years ago, but would like to update it and add more current stuff.

Could any TCs please send me any incidents/examples of items they have discovered during inspections that could have had a serious safety of flight impact?

In order to protect identities of those been inspected, private e-mails would be preferred.

The basis for this presentation is Building, not Flying.

Any other ideas for inclusion would also be welcome...

.....thanks in advance ... gil in Tucson

I'd like to read something like that too...perhaps the responses could avoid mentioning any names or identifying details so that we can all read it and benefit?

Default After the presentation...

Paul... It will be a large, animated PowerPoint presentation....

However, when I'm done presenting it, I'll summarize it and post it somewhere on the web... perhaps even send it to Sport Aviation again....

The last article actually started off as my notes for a oral presentation to the Van Nuys EAA Chapter, and then got cleaned up and organized into the magazine article.
