Man I hate that! Gambled on FSS info of lighter headwinds over Indiana at 9,000ft. After slow climbing to 8,500 and spending a short time there realized that was a real bad move. Came back down to 2,000 and things were much better. It was a good race and we met some good people. Flew back from Oshkosh to Fayetteville, Arkansas today non-stop 3hrs 15min - good to be home. Well, there is still the U.S. Air Race in September (
