Default Trouble Tracking an Order

Has anyone else experienced a problem with the way Vans has you track a shipment? I went to their "Order Tracking" page, followed their instructions and according to UPS the order can't be found. According to Vans web site - the order shipped on 8.22.06 but I can't seem to get UPS to recognize some part of the request! Yes, I tried FedEx too - neither one recognizes my order. Can anyone help me with this - what could I be doing wrong?

Yes, this has happen to me a few times. I called Vans and they told me that the two computer systems don't always talk to each other when it comes to the Vans assigned reference number.

If you call them they can give you the actual tracking number and that has always worked for me.

Glad to hear I'm not alone. I'll give 'em a call.

Tracking by reference number is completely useless in my experience. Put in your email address when you order online from Vans and you'll usually get an email from UPS when your package ships.
