Default Alternative Oil Pressure sensors for RV-12s with Dynon D180

My third Honeywell oil pressure sensor has failed (pressure readings all over the place!)
Does anyone know what alternative senders can be fitted to the RV12 with a Rotax 912 and a Dynon D180 without major modifications?

Have you moved the oil pressure sender to the firewall? If not, you should.

Default RV12: connecting VDO oil pressure sensor to D 180

I am going to fit a VDO sensor to measure oil pressure on my Rotax as I have had it with the Honeywell sensor. Can I connect it to the wires from the Dynon D 180 which fed the Honeywell unit.... and if not what do I need to do to get a proper pressure reading?
