ELT antenna mounting

Has anyone mounted an ACK E-04 ELT antenna on an RV8. The antenna is 20 inches long and recommended to be mounted on topside of aircraft within 35 degrees of vertical. The canopy will not allow mounting on the turtle deck.

The problems associated with mounting an ELT antenna on a RV-8 have been thoroughly discussed previously on VAF. You can use the Search engine or go directly to this thread:
