Default eGyro Micro Horizon

I recently came across the eGyro Micro Horizon which is more of a turn coordinator with pitch information. Has anyone any experience with using this as a back up instrument for partial panel flying. For those interested the web page is.

A friend has fitted one to his plane which has not yet flown and I am curious to learn anything from someone who has used the system.

Default gyro

here's another option that trutrak is announcing at Sun N Fun this year. the smaller unit may be in the same price range as the pcflightsystems product. I'm going to SNF and plan to check it out.
