Default Eagle's Nest has a new pilot!

As of 3:15, Ross Porter completed his check ride and graduates to the status of pilot. Many thanks to all who helped, especiallly Ron Huddleston, CFI and Larry Bothe, Pilot Examiner. Larry said this was the first free check ride he has given. We are all very proud of what Ross has accomplished. If all goes as planned, he wll fly EN-1 into Oshkosh in about two weeks. Stop by our booth (outside the Homebuilt Hangar) and congratulate him.

Bob

Bob,

You sir are the one who should be congratulated! You are inspiring young people to get involved and some even become pilots! Thank you.

Thumbs up Outstanding

Congrats Ross, great accomplishment. Keep in mind the percentage of pilots in the USA is a very small and of these even less that built an airplane!

See you at Oshkosh

Default Congrats!

Congrats! You will be a huge inspiration to our students as we are gearing up for our ENP build in Virginia. Hope this leads to many more aviation careers. Thanks to all your mentors, Bob and Ernie for making this possible!

Default First passenger!

Kinda neat follow-up today. We have drop-in visitors quite often, and we put Ross to work today. His very first passenger was the Director of Flight Operations for Purdue University. She had dropped by just to see our operation. She really like the RV-12 and Ross gave her a good demo flight.
